People/Environment

This is a really great opportunity to support the environment and people in need. last week my cousin gave me this really cool bracelet and I just wanted to tell everyone about it. The company that makes the jewelry is called 31 Bits. It uses recycled paper to make the beads that go in to the jewelry and employ poor women to make all the necklaces, bracelets, and other jewelry. This is a two in one deal to help the world so its great. I recommend buying them as gifts for anyone or for your self. They're having a mothers day special and I'm for sure buying one for my mom.

Here's a quick pic of the bracelet I got!

Animals

A great way to help animals all over the world is to know which states are voting on bills that would help animals. A great way to know is to look on the American Humane Society website they tell you which states are voting on what bills and what they would do for animals. There aren't new bills popping up everyday so what I recommend is getting on the humane society's e-mail list. They e-mail you all the bills heading your way and give you great pointers on how to help animals. They also have an animal of the week which I love because you get to see some really cute animals that were rescued and you can read their success stories.

People

World Vision is a great charity. You can sponser a child, send needy families animals, and supplies. You can also pay for girls to go to school, pay for people to teach families how to grow crops or start a business and you can supply a medical clinic. There are so many different ways to help people! This is one of my favorite charities and you can really make a difference using it.
